Dr.Toni

Dr. Toni Ginés-Rivera, Ph.D., is a counselor educator, certified coach, speaker, and experience in
trauma, grief, and resilience. She is known for integrating clinical insight with faith-informed principles
of healing and restoration. Dr.Toni specializes in guiding individuals and communities through the
process of navigating adversity and moving toward meaningful, lasting transformation.
Dr. Toni holds a doctorate in Psychology and Counseling with a specialization in Counselor
Education and Supervision, where she is currently leading the development of a Clinical Mental
Health Counseling graduate program at St. Peter’s University. Her work includes teaching,
mentoring, and preparing future mental health professionals to engage ethically and effectively
with complex emotional and psychological needs.
Dr.Toni is a sought-after speaker for churches, conferences, leadership events, and academic settings,
where she presents on topics including trauma recovery, grief processing, emotional resilience,
and the integration of faith and mental health. Her speaking is both clinically grounded and
personally meaningful, drawing from professional expertise, biblical wisdom, and lived
experience.

Dr. Toni has been featured in published works, including Aim High: Extraordinary Stories of
Hispanic & Latina Women and The Rescue: Seven People, Seven Amazing Stories (Zondervan).
She is also expanding her platform through digital media, including video reflections, teaching
resources, and podcast engagements focused on healing and restoration.
